La Prairie in the Roussillon RCM
La Prairie belongs to the Roussillon regional county municipality, on the riverfront. Its old quarter, Vieux-La Prairie, was declared a heritage site in 1975. Highways 15 and 30 cross it and Route 104 leaves from there toward Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Brossard and Candiac are its direct neighbours.
