Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Rupert INC. collects on this site, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It is written to be read, not to be long.
Who is responsible for your information
The person responsible for the protection of personal information is Rupert INC. (NEQ 1182267451), 60 rue Martin, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec J3H 3J2.
For any question or request: info@rupert.ca.
What we collect, and why
When you fill in the booking form: your name, email, phone number, postal code and the type of problem. Name and phone are used to call you before the visit. Email is used to send you the confirmation. The postal code is used to plan the technician's trip. The type of problem is used to prepare the visit.
When a residence requests a quote: the contact's name, email, phone number and the residence's address, to prepare and send the quote.
When you apply for a job: the information you choose to send by email.
When you book a date or pay for a plan: those steps happen at Square, which then collects your name, phone number and payment details under its own policy. Rupert never sees your card number.
We collect nothing else. There is no account to create.
Who it is shared with
Resend, which delivers the form emails (servers in the United States).
Square, for booking and payment (servers in the United States and Canada).
Vercel, which hosts the site (servers in the United States).
HubSpot, Rupert's customer follow-up tool: each booking or quote request creates a record there (servers in the United States). Job applications are not sent there.
JNT Productions, which built the site and measures its audience (see "Cookies" below).
No one else. We never sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
Requests received through the forms are kept in Rupert's mailbox for two years after the last contact, then deleted. Information tied to a service contract is kept for the length of the contract and seven years after, for accounting obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to withdraw your consent. Write to info@rupert.ca: we answer within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Cookies
This site sets a single cookie, and only when you send a form: it stops the same request from going out twice. It expires after one hour. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking from page to page.
The site counts its visits with the measurement tool of JNT Productions (jntproductions.com), which built the site: page views, time on the page, clicks and calls started from the site. This tool sets no cookie and collects neither your name, your email nor your phone number.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Forms are sent from our servers, never from your browser to a third party, and the service access keys are never in the site's code.
