Lachine sits at the entrance of the canal of the same name, on Lake Saint-Louis. Old Lachine and René-Lévesque Park, which reaches out into the lake, are its landmarks. Highway 20 crosses it. LaSalle, Saint-Laurent and Dorval are around it.
